Every dollar raised from the Thorpdale Potato Festival is reinvested back into the community through a dedicated grants process. These funds help support local clubs, schools, and community projects, ensuring that the festival has a lasting impact on the region.

Ticket Prices

  • Adults: $20
  • Children (3 Years & Under): Free
  • Child (4 to 18 Years): $15
  • Concession Ticket: $17
    (Accepted: Full-Time Student Card, Pension Card & Health Care Card)
  • Family of 4 (2 Adults & 2 Children Over 4 Years): $60
  • Family of 5 (2 Adults & 3 Children Over 4 Years): $60

Your festival ticket grants you free access to a range of exciting activities and attractions, including:

* Please note: A registration fee applies to participate in the Potato Picking Challenges and Hessians on the Field, but spectators can enjoy the events for free as part of their festival entry.

Ticket Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket to the Thorpdale Potato Festival, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

All ticket purchases are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to, changes in personal circumstances, weather conditions, or event alterations.

  • A valid ticket must be presented for entry to the festival.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who does not comply with event regulations or who poses a risk to the safety and enjoyment of others.

Due to the large size of the event and the potential safety concerns for both animals and attendees, dogs are not permitted, except for registered assistance dogs. This policy ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all while maintaining an inclusive environment for those requiring assistance animals.

The Thorpdale Potato Festival reserves the right to make changes to the event program, schedule, or venue if necessary. Tickets will remain valid in the event of such changes.

  • All attendees must follow the directions of event staff and comply with all safety measures in place.
  • The festival organisers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property.
  • The following items are not permitted at the festival: alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, and any other items deemed unsafe by the organisers.
  • Bags may be subject to inspection upon entry.

By attending the festival, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to appear in media content, please notify the organisers prior to the event.

The festival will proceed in all weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the organisers. Attendees should come prepared for outdoor conditions.

The organisers accept no responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage sustained at the event, except where required by law.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in removal from the festival without a refund.
